Hey
After reading and knowing about the ecoboost requiring 93 or higher for peak power. My question is-do we have anything that suggests that the ecoboost stock tune is dangerously conservative with running anything lower than 93 (knock or detonation)? While I was looking into getting an STI I knew about Subaru's tuning and how those motors are failing because of the tune/timing/detonation & knock. One of the ways to try to prevent ringland is sticking with the highest fuel (93 or 97) to avoid any knock or detonation.
Do we have to worry about the same thing?
Cheers
