Any thoughts on closest wrap colors to match painted Ruby Red?

Looks like 3M has a gloss red metallic G203 and Hexis has a gloss red ruby HX20186B that seem in the ballpark looking online. Figured I would ask before I order up some samples.

Anyone wrap Roush hood vents? Not sure if the edges/curves too tight for it.

That 3M gloss red metallic looks really close to me. I actually hadn't thought about wrapping my whole car until this thread. I was going to do my roof in gloss black but you motivated me to reach out to a local installer about doing my entire car.

Best bet is to go to a local shop and they should have plenty of sample books for you to look at and compare to your vehicle's color.

I'd like to see what everyone does. Right now I like my stripes, but hey, the appeal of vinyl is that it isn't permanent.

Stopped by metrorestyling.com which happens to be just down the street (Northern Detroit Burbs) to check out 10 or so different wrap colors from 3M, Avery, and Hexis. Closest one was this from Hexis.

It is very close depending on how the light hits it. What makes it a good match is the metallic flake "size" is very similar. The 3M was a finer flake, maybe a touch more silver in the flake.

I will post in a different topic some concerns they had wrapping the Roush vents, curious what others think
