I didn't know that runway was publicly accessible; although I have seen several episodes of Mythbusters that were filmed there...

Thanks for that; you can really see the swirls in that pattern and to me it looks a little like the pattern you seen in carbon fiber from afar. Still haven't seen any close-ups of the "aluminum I/P panel" on the Red Line trim yet. I did ask a couple of folks who have that trim to post but no luck yet.

Not really, carbon fiber is a 2x2 twill pattern and looks really different. My dash is that round swirled pattern like when they lay new concrete
