  1. Gt350 Shift Knob retrofit

I let the blue loctite harden for 1 day. and today when I tried to wiggle it around the loctite gave up way to easily :(. I put back my oem knob and it's interesting how it is harder to thread in and it holds well without having to use anything. I don't really want to use red loctite otherwise...
  2. Gt350 Shift Knob retrofit

I'm curious with that too. I jsut tried to install mine after looking at the video. If I thread it all the way to the bottom (I removed the metal ring as shown in the cj ponyvideo) then back off to align the pattern the reverse collar does not work and I had to back it out quite a lot to get the...

Congratulation on the new car. I believe you brought your 1st 350 to cars and croissant in December but I was away in France :( Now what do I need to do to get a chance to do a photo shoot with those beauties (besides changing my name to Kirby) :p ig: timeless35 ;)
  5. ngauge or SF4/X4 decision....

I'm currently running a JLT intake with their in-house tune using sct tuner. I'm happy with the tune but I'm curious to try a lund tune to compare the 2. Now if I go with the ngauge device, should I reflash the stock tune with the sct 1st or can I just load the ngauge tune rigth away ? Also is...

YES, sounds about right. high pitch and feint did you keep the sound tube connected ?
  9. hissing/whistle sound after intake and tune

this is my 1st NA car so I'm not familiar how a CAI sounds compared to a turbocharged car. that sound is not exactly awesome for me. lol it doesn't sound like a leak either. I'll try to record it if I can
  10. hissing/whistle sound after intake and tune

I'm getting this hissing sound inside the car after I installed my JLT CAI with their tune. The car runs fine, AFR seems ok and the power is there. I checked that everything is tight in the engine bay. I get this strange hissing/whistle sound inside the car. seems to be coming around the...
  11. 2.9 Whipple and SW longtubes installed!

clean install. you might have changed my mind from roush to whipple. still a bit concerned about the tune. I'm new to this platform and I would like a kit that comes with a solid, reliable tune from the start.
  12. remove clutch helper spring = bad idea ?

looks like it's just my luck. almost 2 weeks now that I had the dealership look at it and they still haven't got back to me. traveling abroad next week but when I'm back I'm just going to tell them that I don't care if they have to swap the entire clutch brake pedal assembly because this is...
  13. Forgestar F14 CF5 CF5V CF10 F15 Rotary Forged Wheels | S550 2015 Mustang fitments

I'm considering getting a set of Forgestar F14 in super deep concave. I'm not trying to get a super aggressive fitment but flush. for the 19 inches wheels is there any issue running 11 rear and 10 front both super deep concave ? or is 9.5 front better ? Any issue about clearing the brembos ...
  14. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

the tech said they tried to lube it but it made no change. Now I'm at work so I haven't really check what they did or didn't. They were surprisingly not motivated to really try to solve the issue but rather send the info to Ford before taking any action
  15. GT 5.0 Oil Consumption in first 1000 miles?

I only checked it for the 1st time at 4500 miles and it was close to the bottom mark. Had the oil change done at the dealership today so I'll keep an eye on it
  16. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

I know shifting is soo much better without that spring :/ I hope it just me and my luck and not a more general problem that this spring is really needed. In any case I'll keep it in there even after they fix it because replacing the pedal assembly seems to be a more complicated job than it looks
  17. Ecoboost burning oil. White smoke!!!

could be a bad seal in the turbo but if you burn oil throught the exhaust the smoke will be blue. white smoke is sign of coolant. which could point to the head gasket. In any case not looking good. hopefully Ford set you straight
  18. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

they did try to lube but the noise is still present. The pedal is metal but it seems to be mounted in a plastic piece which might be the culprit. I noticed when I had the spring out that the pedal could move left and right a little. With the spring in the clutch is fixed but I guess the damage...
  19. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

I posted a new thread about that but I might as well post it here too. I removed the spring maybe 1k-2k miles ago and now my clutch pedal squeaks and it's annoying as f*** maybe it is totally unrelated but my guess is that removing that spring weakened the pivot point adn created the...
  20. remove clutch helper spring = bad idea ?

Maybe it's just me and my luck but just in case I'll share my experience with removing the clutch helper spring. It definitely help for shifting and get a more linear feel for the engagement point. However last week my clutch pedal started squeaking when I was clutching in and I notice that the...
