curious as to where you got the stripes? i've been wanting to change mine.

You might want to check out Big Worm Grahpix. Their stripes come pre-cut and are ready to lay down. And their material is top notch.

I'm almost done laying down the second set of gun metal pin stripes as I describe above. Got it all done except the front bumper, which I'm about to go finish up. I like the look of having a thin strip of ruby red between the matte black main stripes and the pin stripes.

I'll post a few pics when I'm done to see what you guys think.

There seemed to be enough variation from theirs to the "correct" style that I never went back to theirs.

I had never seen a 15+ with the style left over from 10-14 side stripes/graphics. It's good to see though that there was a bit of free form variation. This means I've effectively seen five different side stripe/graphic combinations on the 15+ cars.

my car isn't a Roush, and is just a self-done conversion, and i've been apprehensive about the side graphics, but seeing that my car came stock with the faded hood/trunk stripes my car has looked "naked" to me for quite some time.

Okay. I see now your inquiry was directed to Mike re side stripes. I think the side stripes look good.

Finished my pin stripe change. I think the stripes look better now with the 1/4 inch gap b/w the main stripes and the pin stripes.

Before and after pics.

Well, I can apparently only upload one pic at a time from my iPad. The one above is after moving the stripes away from the main stripes. Here's a before.

They both look good, the gap makes the stripes look wider overall, a good thing in my opinion. Although I prefer the look of the pin stripe without the gap.

How hard is it to remove stripes if you don't like them?

Removing the stripes is pretty easy, especially if you warm them up with a a heat gun or hair dryer. They just peel off.

Man, that looks good. Do you have more photos? I may be putting on the same wheels and tires as you soon!
