^^although after watching it.... It's obvious he's just another person eager to get their review on the internet without any real knowledge or interest in the cars.

I don't think I have seen anyone talk about white stripes. I had not considered it until I was at a dealer (think I am close to a deal) and they were confused about the stripes and came back asking if I wanted white or black. I told them black again but have been thinking about white. I don't think the white looks good with the black roof though.

The white stripes remind me of a high school buddy's 289 GT (67). It was a maroon color with white stripes along the rockers.

Anyone else gone with RR with White?

Actually, some of the most interesting bits are when he's driving through the Ford facility. There are a few camo'd up cars that have me curious.

Totally in agreement with your comments.

This base 920A R model is configured exactly the same as the car that I ordered included the Ruby Red paint and Black roof which has been sitting at ramp 51 for about 2 weeks now.

I was waiting for him to show a picture of the chassis number but I am not sure that he even knew that each of these GT350/GT350R's all have a unique chassis number above the glove compartment area.

Maybe because of the limited area to drive this car was the reason that he was short shifting the car during the whole episode?

In any event thanks for posting and just gets me a lot more excited about receiving my 2017 and if GR019 shows up with more than 2000 miles on it I know exactly who had their hands on it!:headbonk::headbonk:

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I'm sure they wouldn't allow some dufus to drive around in an ordered car. Likely a PP. If that ended up being you're car....I wouldn't call it funny but it would "amusing" when they try to pawn it off on you and explain away those miles and tire wear, lol.

I was struggling with the strips vs no stripes dilemma on RR ever since the 2017 configurator came online. Last night I finally decided that I will change my order from RR, black roof & no stripes to RR, black roof, with stripes. I plan on doing that today (no VIN yet, so I believe this shouldn't be an issue). When I originally placed an order at a dealership for a 2016 track pack, I chose CO, black roof, with black stripes. There was no question about stripes or no stripes, I couldn't see that color without the stripes, that color combination looked just right to me. We couldn't agree on the ADM of their last allocation, so I walked. However, with RR, it's a very difficult decision, both with or without stripes look fantastic.
Order successfully changed to add black stripes to my original order.
RR, black roof, black stripes
:clap2:

Plus you will have some extra paint correction to do after the machine car wash.

Create a photobucket account and post them from there. Takes 2 seconds and is free.

Finally, a decent pic, first one. Confused a bit though as I thought the 17 models had the big spoiler for non-R models. If not, that's great news.

Any way you can get some other angles, different pics of front & rear? I went to dealers website and they've got nothing posted yet...if it's Duval Ford. Thanks

I'd try but I'm in Atlanta. Had to email them for these ones feigning interest.

In other news my RR was built today! My neighbor is a factory training driver and set up alerts for the car. It was 15 arduous days from order to production.:)

I actually really like it with the white stipes - even with the black roof. Would be my second choice after AG/white OTT/black roof that I have coming on an R. Think I might be in the minority though with liking white stripes + black roof...
