Rubber smell

Hey, can anyone tell me if they had this problem. This past week, there was smoke coming out the ac vents early in the morning with the defroster/heater was on. Today with those on, the smoke was coming out of the right side of the hood and had a buring sort of rubber smell to it. I took it to the dealership to get it looked at. What do you guys think it could be?

Electric short? A pulley or belt that seized up? Locked AC compressor? Could be a lot of things...

It was leaking oil from valve cover gasket and i should have in a dew days
