Who has this exhaust and how do you like it? I am mainly curious about the drone if any. Was also thinking about adding a H-pipe but not sure how that will play into the drone. Any information is appreciated.

I had it with an x pipe. Drone was absolutely unbearable. I added two dynomax bullets, still horrible. Sold it and went with GT500s.

Did you try it without the x-pipe? Maybe the x-pipe was causing the drone?

I have the street spec with h pipe and absolutely love it. Nice deep rumble with no drone.

So I installed this exhaust last weekend. Goddam it sounds sooo good. It has a healthy purr on idle. A little loud on cold start but I am not getting up at 4am to go to work. It sounds like modified exhaust until about 3.5k then it starts getting that tuned sound. When you are full loud pedal it screams like a banshee and I love it. I've burned through a tank of gas already because I want to hear it.

There is a rattle that I need to sort out and I need to bend one of the hangers to adjust the positioning of the exhaust tip. I will get a video soon with some good quality mics and upload. I did not get rid of the factory resonator but it still is loud with it. I left my mom's house where I did the work and they heard me get it two blocks away. Mission accomplished.

No Grintch, it did not come with a 3 gun setup.

I assume you got the competition and not the street spec, right? Was installation pretty easy?

Yes, is is the comp spec. Turns out the rattle that was driving me nuts was the front license plate screws jumping around in the spare tire wheel carrier. A month later I am still happy with this exhaust.

Nice. Leaning toward the street spec just because I don't want it to be as loud as just a good deep growl. Not a lot of sound clips out there but I like the clips I've heard for both specs.

Glad it's working out well for you.

The street spec with stock manifolds/cats, h-pipe reso delete sounds very nice imo. zero drone, and nice low rumble. gonna delete cats this winter and it may get a little loud for my taste so I will add in bullet resos if needed.

The youtube clips on American muscle do not justice towards the sounds of the mufflers. I will try and get some clips of them soon.
