Got the hood vents on both cars yesterday. Good excuse to lose the deadweight hood padding in the process! Dog has decided it's his new bed ......... And no, I'm leaving them as they came. Black. They look against both the race red and Bullitt green hoods.

I am very happy with them. A more aggressive look to start with. Installation is very ez ...... Word of caution !! Place a blanket across the engine compartment before loosening the 10mm flange nuts. I lost one. They are $6.00 ea. at Ford dealer. Evidently it is used elsewhere because he keeps them in stock. Also, the install vid posted on one of our sponsors website is so wrong. The sound deadening mat does not need to be undone. There is a trim outline printed on the mat that shows exactly the cutout made with a good box knife needed to access the 4 ea flange nuts per vent. Quite frankly, the 20 something shave tail in the vid needs to go back to doing what she was hired by them to do to begin with, like changing the toilet paper and emptying the trash .........
