I sold my last Mustang, a 2015 GT that I bought new. I added a P1X, a 2018 manifold, full exhaust, etc. It was a fun car, but I traded it in for a C7 Z06. That car was subsequently sold and I bought a C8. It was a great car, but lacks in aftermarket and I am a tinkerer. So I'm back with a new 2021 GT 6 speed.

I bought the car from Beechmont Ford in Cincinnati, Ohio. I made the flight there and drove it home.

At the dealer, I had installed:

- Roush stage 2 supercharger
- Roush single adjustable suspension
- FosterMods sound tube
-Heated leather seats

Car came with active exhaust which is nice. Attached are some pictures from the dealership as well as the stock and supercharged dyno. Great numbers IMO, especially for pump gas and considering all that I did to my 2015 to make about 80 hp more (and 50 tq less).

Today/tomorrow I am tinting the tail lights, and putting on VMS 17x10/18x9.5 wheels with MT ET SS 305/45/17 in the rear. I've ordered a GT500 hood that I'll put on soon as well. Rear tires are on, but the fronts will go on tomorrow. Window tint will be done whenever I can get it lined up.

Nice build!
Thank you! I have a few other things to install as well. A carbon fiber spoiler (I have it, not sure if I want to install it because the stock one actually looks decent), some other dress-up, etc. First impressions of the roush blower have been good so far. I'll have to run it a little harder to tell for sure, but it is a thumbs up for me so far. I forgot to post my dyno sheet. I think it's pretty good for stock.

I was going to have Granger do my 2022 with a Roush Stage 2, but when they checked they were told the 2022 calibrations would not be in until June at the soonest so I will need to have it done later. Besides, when they wife found out I ordered the car I had to figure in the cost of the modifications PLUS the divorce attorney!😱😬

That's actually why I went with a 2021. I asked about the 22s and was told the same thing, so I just asked if they had any 2021 models available.

Haha, I'm lucky in that regard. The trick is to let them buy whatever they want, so then they can't say anything when you want to spend money on car parts!

Edit:

Things that I have at my house that I have yet to install:

- MMD V Series Carbon Fiber Spoiler
- Carbon Fiber mirror covers
- Turn Signal and Quarter Marker Light Tint
- Red caliper covers

The first three I am still deciding if I want to install them. The Black Accent Package from Ford really looks a lot better than I thought it would. Not sure if the wing and mirror covers will take away from that.

Things that are on the way to my house:

- MP Concepts Aluminum GT500 style hood

This will have to be painted and I'll have to figure out if I want the stripe painted on or if I want to try to buy a whole stripe kit just for the hood. I will make my decision when the hood is on the car, but I like the 2021 front fascia enough that I don't think I want the GT500 fascia. If anyone has just the hood installed and want to share some pics, please feel free. Or if you have any suggestions for aesthetic mods, please let me know.

I am going to leave the motor and exhaust stock for now. I need some time to feel put the roush and see if I want to push it with that system or change it to another.

Today I got the front wheels and tires put on. They didn't have time to put the caliper covers on (?) so I'll have to try to get the car on the lift and do it before the show this weekend.

The GT500 hood came as well and wasn't damaged in transit as I had feared. I'm not sure when I'll get it installed and painted, but I'll figure it out. As a side note, it is better to mount it first to check for fitment issues before painting, right?

Attached are a couple pictures of the wheel setup and one of the hood.

Due to a shipping mixup, I ordered 2 pairs. I think I will end up putting the SR Performance ones on. I didn't really know where to look for them besides AM, and I didn't want any lettering on them since they aren't Brembos and I don't want to look like I'm trying to pass them off as such. Even though the SR ones are doing their best Brembo imitation lol.

I agree. I made a purchase and tried to cancel it but it had already shipped and I haven't gotten around to returning it yet. It was those caliper covers, a set of rtr tech 7 wheels, and tires. I don't have a FedEx store nearby so it's like pulling teeth to get them dropped off for return.

Caliper covers don't clear the back wheels, so they're a no go.

I got the MP Concepts GT500 hood painted yesterday and installed today. I brought by a carbon fiber spoiler that has a small nick in it and asked them if they could fix it. They couldn't, but then they just put it on the car. Which is fine, I was going to do it any way, but I didn't expect it. Here are a couple pictures of the spoiler and the hood. They put the insulation (I'm blanking on the word right now) from the stock hood onto the new hood. I want to cut the area in the center so that the scoop is actually functional, but I'm wondering if the heat from the blower might cause issues. If anyone has used this hood with a roush or vmp before, please let me know. The paint looks like it's a couple shades off in the picture, but it doesn't look that way in person. I am going to wait a couple weeks to have the stripes put on per the guy that does the stripes.

Also included are a couple pictures of my wife's new truck. She wanted a chevy luv, so we went out and bought one with a 350 bored over 0.030, a TH400, and a handful of other things done to it. It's not too far from being a race truck.

Ordered boost and fuel pressure gauges, got sent 2 fuel pressure gauges. Whenever the correct gauge comes in, I'll be installing them.

Not exactly build related, but my vanity plate came in. Was surprised it wasn't taken.
