Im looking to buy the Roush quad exhaust,I like the look of the quad pipe and that your able to open and close them, but what I dont like is the valance that they claim is required to install this, so has anyone had any different difusser installed or even modify the stock valance or muffler brackets and tubing to make it fit ?

There is a member on here that modified his stock valance to work with quad tips, but he had custom tips done to make it work. He did not have the quad set up from a manufacturer.

I wanted to go that route, but once I recieved my magnaflow catback I realized that because of the positioning of the actual tips, I could not make it work on the factory premium valance. So I ordered the roush valance.

So long story short, unless someone comes on here and says yes I did that you won't truly know until you try it yourself. If you are wanting to go this route because of the looks of the roush valance, then I think having a custom exhaust done is the way to go. That way the shop can cut out the parts of the stock valance and make the quadtips fit the openings.

I realize that I did not answer your question. But I will leave you with this, I did the roush valance in my garage. If you take your time and measure everything several times before you cut, it will go together as advertised. I do not regret cutting up my bumper at all. I am committed to quadtips for the life of the car, but I love the way it looks.

Thats what I was wondering,I did find a mustang for sale,in the description he says he has magna flow quad tip and he has the stock valance, and I like the looks better from the stock valance the roush one,and not have to take the bumper off and cut it up would be a plus to me,but I guess like you say, I will need to find out myself.

Another question, on the pictures , it looks like the roush valance sticks out more over the edge of the bumper then the stock valance, would you be able to take a picture, from the top of the rear spoiler right in the middle, like pointing the camera straight down holding center of the rear spoiler so it shows this?
