Hello Everyone,

I’m a 60 yr. old newbie to Mustang ownership, or should say, will be. I have a 2020 GT on order with Ford that should be arriving any day now. When it arrives the dealer will be adding the Roush kit. It’s an auto/trans premium with PP1 and most of the extras Ford offers, including the Safe and Smart package.

I was curious about anyone out there with basically the same setup, and whether or not the adaptive cruise control is functional or not? I’ve read conflicting stories on this. And based on what I’ve seen, I think the problem with it being disabled only existed in builds prior to 2018?
Thanks.

Jeff

Lol...you didn't believe me when I answered on the other forum? For the 2nd time, adaptive cruise is not impacted by the Roush kit. It works fine.

No idea if this info is wanted...

...but, my 16 with an Edelbrock SC the adaptive cruise works just as it did prior to going SC. I heard the same thing that cruise didn’t work with PD superchargers but that is nonsense.

I use it all the time.

There’s a post on the P2 that’s on here, no reason to open a new post about a Roush?

Hey wait a minute Bruce, lol aren’t you the guy from the other forum that told me to call Roush? And then another person told me that might be a little iffy depending on who you talk to and that I should come here. Anyway no offense, I’ve been around a long time it’s taught me to double check my info. I’ve experienced asking the same question to three different people and got three different answers. Thank you again Bruce, I do very much appreciate your input...and this time I’m taking it to the bank! Lol

Lol...no worries Jeff. I have the Roush kit and the safe & smart package. Adaptive cruise works fine. You will find very well informed people here who have Roush kits and plenty of experience with them. You will also find guys without the Roush kits who will tell you how bad they are!
