I feel your pain. Same thing happened to my GT500 mufflers on my last car. No choice but to replace :(

I just had this happen on my mbrp. I emailed them a copy of my receipt and they sent me a new driver side muffler no questions asked or video of the rattling required.

No, just the regular ABs
There really is nothing to break inside the AB. It's pretty much just a straight pipe.
You sure nobody put something in there? There is a gap that small rocks can fall into.

Got about 20k miles on my roush mufflers. Zero issues. I also had mine welded on.

I got the same problem as the OP. I'm owner #1 so Roush sent me a replacement. Hope it doesn't happen again though.

When you squeeze the can front to back, the noise stops. It's most likely the pipe broke loose inside the can.

Agree. The roush AB is not as simple as a muffler delete pipe. It is still some form of muffler with an internal baffle. That is the weak point actually.

rusty stainless uh lol
The welds around the ends of the mufflers were rusting, not the stainless. I know mine did it. They should have come with a weep hole drilled in them, but it was an easy enough fix to do.

Edit for Pic: Notice the rust on the end. I'm sure that could be twice as bad inside and cause the baffling to come lose. When I drilled the weep holes in mine, they drained at least a 1/4 cup of water each.
