How much did u guys put down to the RW? I put down 540 at Alternative (dynojet) kind of disappointed especially forking over that kind of money to roush. I was thinking atleast 590-600 but what do I know. If they don't warrant the upgrades that will be very disappointing.
The dyno results I saw before I bought mine were showing around 540 with the 627hp tune. I would have thought the 670hp tune would be putting down around 575. Have not seen any post upgrade dyno results anywhere tho.

When I bought my car I had 100% intentions on going with the Roush/Ford Racing charger and having it installed at the Ford dealer. Because it was advertised in such a way that they lead you to believe if you follow all the rules.. you keep your warranty in place. But the more I looked into it and asked questions to Roush and Ford Racing.. it became clear (to me personally) that the warranty situation was complete crap. And the verbiage seems to blatenly mislead you on purpose. You ultimately have to buy the Roush warranty for $1,000. My experience was very negative, and it seemed clear that Ford Racing and Roush will go back and fourth trying to deny any and every claim they possibly can. When I called Roush, the dude there was very cool and talked to me for about 45 minutes. I appreciated that very much. When I called Ford Racing.. dude was a complete asshole and didn't care to answer ANY question in regards to warranties. So overall, my own experiences, pushed me away from Roush/Ford Racing. And pushed me into the arms of Whipple. Who treated me great from day 1 and never had any problems answering my questions with REAL answers. It didn't hurt that Lethal had a 15% off deal on the Whipple's as well. That being said.. I still think the Roush product itself is a great product.

Good info! So for perspective SC buyers you have to look at customer service as well as the hardware... it's easy to compare HP numbers, but what happens if something goes wrong and you need support?

The guys @ Elder Ford were very up front about the $1000 warranty. In fact, they printed out & handed me a copy when I 1st stopped by to talk about what I was interested in doing & told me to read it over carefully @ home.

Between the time I ordered my car & it was delivered, they changed their policy & will not do the install unless you are willing to buy the warranty. Makes sense to me as it should eliminate (or limit) the finger pointing if something goes wrong. I intended to buy it from the get-go, so I had no problem with them tacking it on to the build quote.

Good to hear you had some up-front folks to deal with. And the gentlemen I spoke to from Roush was definitely much more forth coming and overall cool to talk to. It was the dude from Ford Racing who really turned me away. Was on the phone literally 5 minutes and he acted like I was ruining his entire day lol And he was IN THE WARRANTY department!

Basically I found that if you ask 5 people the same question about the warranty.. you get 5 different answers. If I was to go Roush, I would just go straight Roush. Cut Ford Racing completely out of it and buy directly from Roush. Then you have One company to deal with when/if things go wrong.

I don't know if you are aware of what I went through, but I have NEVER seen another company go to such lengths to make sure a customer is happy as ROUSH did for me.

They shipped my car to their engineering center (provided me with a rental) and once they determined the issue, they flew me up to Michigan to make sure everything was 100% before they shipped it back. They have also remained in constant contact to ensure the problem has not resurfaced.

I have seen multiple threads in here where every brand of system has had an issue at one time or another. I have seen EVERY vendor step up to address the problems presented to them on this forum. I wouldn't be afraid to do business with any of them.

So.... if you want to know what happens when you need support with ROUSH, just know that you'll be taken care of.

I read your thread on that. That was awesome man! Thats why I said I would go straight to Roush and cut Ford Racing out of the equation.

I wasn't trying to point fingers at anyone in particular, just saying you need to know what you get on the back end after the sale.

I haven't read your thread, but it's obvious that Roush did the right thing which is great to know! Thanks for posting

Never even thought about going to Ford Racing. Called Roush & briefly discussed what I was interested in doing, they referred me to the 2 closest Ford/Roush dealers. The closest one didn't seem very interested in anything other then selling the cars he had on the lot (none of which were Roush) & so I ended up @ Elder.

Warranty/service was more important to me that wringing every last bit of HP out of the car, so I wanted the work to be done by an authorized Roush shop that preferably was also a Ford dealer.

Just based on my experience, I would advise anyone wanting to do this go to the Roush site & find the closest surrounding dealers. Then do a little leg work, 'interview' at least a few and pick the one that gives you the best feel that they have the talent on board to do the work & will stand behind it after if you have issues.
