Roush CAI Peeps: Info Needed

Here's the deal....a buddy has a mint rectangular Roush emblem laying around that he said I could have, and I was curious if it would cover the molded in letters. More underhood bling, see.

Have the CAI ordered, but it looks like the emblem in question is a hair too small. Back to the drawing board.

I have the Roush intake and it came with a white sticker that you can put over the letters. I've yet to do it after having the intake for almost a year, and it's been in my trunk since then as well. I'll get around to it one of these days.

I'm trolling the intake threads because I'm constantly worried by the ambient intake temp with this open air element. It gets up to 170 or more while idling. Scary, trust me.

Thinking just a metalic black but do the letters in yellow. Don't see why not. Totally doing it. Working on the coil and engine covers now.

Sounds good to me. I was worried you were going to paint the whole thing yellow, but I think just a touch of it would be ok. Pics or it didn't happen.
