I just installed axle backs on my 2017 gt and an H pipe. Whenever the rpms go slowly from 1000-1500 there is a bad rattle sound from both mufflers. I double checked all hangers and clamps. Everything is tight and exhaust sounds great above 2000 rpm but when you let off the gas and the rpms fall it rattles like crazy from 1500 - 1000 rpm. The only place you hear it is leaving the tip. Ive removed the axle backs and shaken them but there is nothing loose inside. I just don’t get where this sound is coming from. Can anyone help? So disappointed when I’ve waited a year for the exhaust and it doesn’t sound right. Would installing the factory resonator cure this? I’ve searched and have seen issues with them breaking internally but these are brand new. I haven’t road tested yet as it’s still winter here will this maybe go away if it’s broken in :headbonk:
