Roush air intake ?

How are the Roush air intakes ?

Apparently c&l air intake claims 34 rwhp and 33 torque with tune .

Anyone know any that do better ? Is c&l better than roush ?

The gains are a lighter wallet, adding a CAI to a factory intake mani does zippo.. supercharged different story.

Guys, if the topic asked bores you then don't respond. Yes, it has been discussed many times. However, some may not have seen those threads and new, relevant information may be available.

OP, something to consider is the C&L requires a tune whereas the Roush does not. If you have a warranty, remember that adding a tune will void it. Personally, I only use closed box intakes as they do not suck up hot engine air while idling.

Some people feel intakes are a waste of money, some see them as a great first modification. My shop has seen gains with cold air intakes. Bigger gains with a tune, which some people attribute mostly to the tune and not the intake but when you have a bigger MAF area it makes a difference.

To each their own, but out of the two you are considering I would go with the Roush personally. Good luck!

Your arguing of semantics and posting this in every thread is stupid.

Tell me this, oh wise one: What's the difference in having a car that TECHNICALLY has a warranty, but can not have warranty work done on it because the claims are denied versus not having a warranty at all?
