Roush 2650 CAI

Hey guys, has anyone changed the intake on their 2650 roush supercharger? Im interested in swapping to a closed air box since I have put on a Ram Air Hood. It would be nice to mitigate moisture from hitting the filter.

Ill have pictures attached to reference.

I made an adaptor to fit a PMAS CAI onto the Roush inlet tube (post #102, post #114).
The Filterwears F215 pre-filter is supposably water repellent. Not sure what model would fit the Roush cone.

Does the Roush airbox cover not fit with that hood?

My Roush had a cover on the intake itself to make it a closed box. Yours looks the same as mine. Did you buy this new or used? You might be able to just get a cover from Roush or even make something outta plexiglass to cover the top.

The Roush airbox part numbers are listed in the install instructions.

The Roush airbox works well with the cover installed. I removed it for space.

You might want to see what the lower tray costs as well. The cover mounting screws are very easy to strip if a power ratchet is used. Could be why your cover is missing.
