Just do a credit card dispute. Product not as advertised or whatever. Let the CC company do the work if you can show youāve tried to fix the issue with Lund. You donāt even have to work with Lund anymore if youāve tried to solve the problem.Iām trying but as you can imagine they are not giving in easily.
I just opened a dispute today. The hard part is showing them 60 emails back and forth between me and the tuner. Appreciate the info!Just do a credit card dispute. Dispute it and move on. Itās no longer your problem.

Try to de-select some of the PIDs on the data logs so its not so messy and overwhelming. Find what you can that's fuel, spark, and air related and compare them one by one. Obviously the graphs won't be identical. But maybe a large anomaly will stick out. This is actually smart I didnāt think to do this. I also donāt fully know what Iām looking at because thereās a lot going on in the datalogs. Iām new to this.
Agreed. If my idle issue turns out to just be the O2 sensors, I will feel a mixture of somewhere between celebratory and being really pissed off as I have been throwing money at this every now and then for 3 yearsI hate tracking down Idle issues. Its either super simple. Or something super simple hidden behind something complex. Fking headache![]()
Lund offered a $250 refund out of $725 because they still donāt believe the issue is their tune. E85 tested 87% ethanol and it was the exact same tank sitting there Pbd would idle just fine and lunds tune would idle between 435-905 rpmās at operating temp for about 3 minutes before the vehicle eventuality would just kill itself from surging. Pbd tune I can sit an idle for an hour and it holds strong at 900-1000(higher if I have AC on). I can get by with the e85 tune I have for now because e85 is at every gas station here just worried about if I were to take the car out of state how available e85 may be. I did get ahold of wengerd so I will see what they can find.Try to de-select some of the PIDs on the data logs so its not so messy and overwhelming. Couple random thoughts. Was there any large difference in E85 ethonal % when you had the PBD tune vs when you loaded the Lund tune? (I once transitioned tunes... just as gas stations transitioned from summer E85 to winter E85, the E% plummeted 30% over night...my cars idle was crap)
I know you want the 91 tune since 93 is rare in your area. In the meantime, you could just flash back to the PBD tune and buy a bottle of Boostane and add a few Oz's every fill up till you figure it out?
im sure it's been suggested to hit up @Wengerd. They do fantastic work and even better customer service than anyone. And for those of us (me)who need things explained to us like 5 yearolds when it comes to tunes....customer service is a premium I'm willing to pay for![]()
After reading this, Iām a bit concerned about your idle speeds. 900-1000rpm is high if the car is warmed up. I have seen instances where the idle speeds were raised to mask an issue with the car or to tune around something thatās much more difficult to fix than just raising the idle speed a bit.Lund offered a $250 refund out of $725 because they still donāt believe the issue is their tune. Iām not fully sure the exact idle range that just sounds about right. What kind of issues could be covered up? Other than the common ones Iāve found is there something deeper im overlooking? After reading this, Iām a bit concerned about your idle speeds. 900-1000rpm is high if the car is warmed up. Lund could be right that there is an issue with the carā¦
