This post is not related to racing just need a bit of advice if I ever need to get on it . Anyways rolling starts in 40 roll in first gear is very brutal and can never catch traction unless I slowly get in it, so I usually do them in 2nd, I've been experimenting with the car and find that this feels okay but for some reason doesn't feel like 100% . Anyone know if first is the better way to start from a roll? If is il practice doing it more . Need more opinions.

Do a roll that works for you. 1st gear 30? 2nd gear 45-50?

40mph in first is about 6400 RPM. To me that seems like an awfully high point to roll into the throttle.
