Rock chips....ugh

Oxford White and got my first one tonight. Front bumper. It's not huge but it's there and only 500 miles in. I'm pissed.

What you guys doing about rock chips? Touch up paint?

The clear bras are the best for this, especially if u travel alot of highway miles.

XPEL clear bra on bumper headlights, fog lights mirrors, and the strip on top of the rear bumper at the trunk opening, had the same thing done to the wife's 2013 Mustang and it has saved her bumper several times.

What you guys doing about rock chips?

Repaint the entire car. Sounds crazy but it's the only way to prevent it. My Audi A5 had 48 rock chips after 10K miles. I had it completely repainted and now 3 years and 35K miles later I have one.

That sounds like an easy way to spend a lot of money :thumbdown:

Touch up paint or just live with it.

Probably not stressing too much over them. First one showed up on the driver's side mirror when washing today.

Either a rock chip or a door ding...not sure which...made a divot just above the left front tire. Since this part of the car is non-metal, looking for the best way to repair. I'll post a photo tomorrow.
