Well see that's what makes me nervous cause, when I flushed it... Only about a jug worth came out of car, I refilled it with concentrated and it took 1-1/2 jugs ... I guess I'll let out a bit and see what happens.... Is this going to ruin my motor with concentrated? I've been running for about 1hr
I just swapped out the whipple 160 for the Reische 170. Reische direction says not to use water wetter with 50/50 mix or it can cause precipitants (scaling) must be less than 40% they said. whipple called for 2 bottles of water wetter added to the coolant and doesn't mention the mix. Anyone else come across this. I've already added 2 bottles to 50/50.
See I'm using the riesche 170 as well and I just don't want to screw my motor.... If I need to I'll just drain some out and add distilled water to it .... Should be basically the same thing
YES, as others have already said, you should run the recommended mixture. My understanding is antifreeze is to keep the coolant from freezing. Water actually cools better than antifreeze. The possibility of damage comes from the possibility of your engine running hotter with straight antifreeze. It is sold concentrated for convenience (package size).
