Last night I took my regular post-wash lap through town. While waiting to pull onto the main drag from a quiet side road, I revved it up a few times. The first couple times it went high, but after that it was like it was limiting me or something. It had this bogged down feeling and my RPM's didn't shoot up there.

Is that an idiot limiter or something, or did I maybe have too much pressure built up in the exhaust or something? After 5-7 seconds at idle I revved it one more time and it was back to normal. I accelerated hard on the road after that and it was fine.

Do you have launch control active? If you do, the car will not rev past that rpm if you just push the clutch in while in a gear. You have to put it in neutral to free rev it to bypass the launch control rpm.

I've never used launch control so I guess the answer is no. Does TC need to be off to use LC? I've turned off TC a couple times while on the interstate, just messing around with some of my buttons and it always tells me LC isn't available, even though I made no attempt to do anything with LD.
