After you have a VIN (just got mine) how does one determine a build date? Is it on the COTUS site?

Some one just told me how to check build week. While logged in cotus, right click page, click on page source, hit control F, type currentbuildate, and presto! Made me feel hackerish.

go to a different browser. I had the same thing happening. I'm on Firefox so I went to Chrome. But type in currentbuildweek, currentbuild date may not display until closer to the build.

just did the source code process and see build date of week of 10/26. Interesting how this data is embedded in the source code, but not visible to the user in normal html web page view.

it's from a database. it gets all the info, but only displays what is 'supposed' to be displayed at the time.

I the same build week of 10/26 according to my salesman. I was just able to confirm the build week through COTUS using Chrome. doing the currentbuildweek search with Internet Explorer wasn't working. Thanks to whoever gave that tip about the browsers. :clap2:

Hopefully someone can help with this.
Like a lot of people I got my VIN last Thursday (1FA6P8TH5F5320275) but when I look it up on Cotus there's a lot of information missing (dealer, build date etc.).

Cotus is not friendly to Canadian orders so that might be the reason. I want to make sure that I catch anything that could be wrong to avoid any possible delays.
Order # & Dealer ID doesn't work on Cotus for Canadian orders.

Anyone know what's going on?

Here is your source code. I'm guessing yours is a Stock order, since it already has a build date assigned to it of 10/13/14:

"vin": "1FA6P8CFXF5312803" , "currentBuildWeek": "2014-10-12 19:00:00" , "vehicleLineDescription": "Mustang" , "bodyDescription": "P8C V8 Coupe" , "currentBuildDate": "2014-10-13"
