... not be an asshat... but unless you personally ordered from Detroit.. you are not the direct customer. I understand it's your order, but in ford's eyes we are nothing more than stock orders. I understand why you're agitated, but even now I think you might just need to chill. Lmao have a beer or two.. or do what I do... just work not giving a care in the world

Well, I don't want to say you're an asshat, it seems kind of strong but...it's his thread, he didn't poison another thread, he's frustrated like most of us. He makes a valid point that a retail is sold when ordered. I have been waiting for coming up on 5 months. I might get my car in 2014, might. Mine is not even a DD, it's a toy. I was told December when I ordered on 5-20. The frustrating part is that potentially anyone could just walk off the street starting next week (or next) and buy my car off the lot. I will see new Mustangs driving around potentially for 3 months before mine has the potential to arrive. :frusty:

When I ordered mine in June, the dealer told me delivery would be in January. That appears to be spot-on. If you need a car RIGHT NOW, order off the lot. Those of us who placed retail orders did it because we wanted them a particular way. That takes time. Be patient. I very specifically left the city and went about 40 miles away to get a dealer that will treat me as a person rather than as another number in a vast sea of customers.

Yes, it's annoying when people who ordered months later get their cars before I do, but, honestly, whatever. Every month I don't get the car is one more month I don't have to make a car payment.

Wow... that part I can agree... it does suck but the fact of having a trade, value is not going to hold and I guys I can check with other places or barter with my current one when the deal is done... I don't like craigslist crazies
