I finally got an order placed through Trufiber for a direct replacement radio bezel for my 19 mustang after i got a notification they were in stock again. The bezel has a slot for a CD player, but I do not have one in the car.

Would anyone happen to know the part number of the CD player so I can hopefully find a used one. I will never use it, I do not even own 1 CD, but I need the slot filled for appearances.

Or perhaps if you have done similar and what you used to fill the slot.

Thank you for looking,

Richard

Why bother with the expense? Just apply some black felt across the back of the opening. No one will ever know unless they try to play a CD...

That is a great idea. I will do that, thanks. Sometimes we can't see the Forrest because of the trees.

I believe the CD slot is for a car with the B&O system (12 speaker). The 9 speaker doesn't have a CD. That may be the wrong plate. Not sure if it matters for fitment purposes.

I don't know the answer to your question about the CD player.

My 18 EB Premium Convertible only has the 9 speaker system and I have the CD player. Used it maybe once. I have an old ipod nano in the console that is much more useful.

All good, thank you though. Going with the felt idea mentioned.

I believe in 19 they no longer had the CD unless you got the B&0. Prior had the CD, and the 12 speaker was a Shaker system.

OP has a 19.

I believe that is correct. The package for my 2020 would have been B&0 with trunk sub, HD radio, and cd player. I remember because I was going to get the upgraded audio, but didn't want the cd player because you lose the play/pause button.
