I know this has been discussed in other threads, but I can't find it.. I want to remove my "5.0" fender badges to put on new ones. For those who might have already done this, does the "5.0" badge have guide pins attached? If they do, then that means there will be two holes in the body. Do I need to fill the holes prior to putting on the new badge? The new one just has the 3M adhesive tape. Thanks.(sorry, had this in a vendors sub section)

No need to fill holes just peel plastic line up the pins and press hard. Hardest part is the damn goo on the old emblems.

It really couldn't hurt to fill the holes of youre able to. I thought of shooting a couple rivets in the holes once I go to swap mine out. (No not button head or pop rivets). It'll only take a few minutes (if I can get access to the backside)

The new fender badges don't have alignment pins, that's why I asked if I needed to fill in the holes.

UPR carries a full line of blacked out emblems for the GT.

Echoing what has been stated above, the 5.0 badges have pins just like OEM. Easier to install and line up properly. Worth the $40 I paid for mine.

I've heard of people using a hair dryer to heat it up and dental floss but don't have any experience with it personally

Heat it up with a blowdryer and use fishing line.
