I'm happy with the sound of the stock exhaust, but really would prefer larger black tips.

Any suggestions on a brand and source for good quality tips? I can get them welded on locally.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

At the least most people on this forum will do an axleback but there's numerous options out there. Try asking the shop that you want to have do the work, also search the forum to see what others may hay used.
Stainless steel is best -quality wise. Black tips will limit your options some what.

Summit racing is a great place to start. Our cars can handle a 5 inch tip maximum. I know cause I got 5 in last year

Most after market have 3.5 to 4. I have some chrome ones from summit and are very happy.. It is their brand but they also have flowmaster and corsa.

Here a few pics and links... stock is at the bottom:

Also i know you like the stock but rousch , flowmaster or even mac will wake it up a little

In any case good hunting.. reputable shop can change weld them on

No thanks. It's a convertible. And a daily driver. And I can't stand the drone from aftermarket exhausts. I could always go with a Solo but, again, happy with the current sound level just want a different look.

That's why I said Corsa sport. I have had almost every exhaust setup. There is 0 drone in the car, most people don't know I have an axleback until they hear it from the outside. Plus you can get the tips you're looking for without rigging it up.

Recently switched to black tips on my axle-back system. Found a muffler shop that does a lot of trucks since they do a lot of diesel upgrades wIth large outlet black tips. Had a option of several single wall and double wall tips. $100 for the pair installed.

It doesn't appear Corsa makes one for the convertible. :(

Im in the same boat as you, i have a 16 vert premium. I just spoke with "William C" at american muscle and he sated that the borla s-type, borla ataks, and the magna flow competition all fit the vert. I pointed out to him that the American Muscle video stated that the borla s-type would not fit a vert however he stated that he had talked to borla last week and they have updated the exhaust to fit a vert. I am also looking, let me know what you find. I really wanted the Corsa sports.
