Removing Paddle Shift Extensions?

So, I purchased paddle shifter extensions from CJPP, I was going to remove the steering wheel and noticed that these extensions cover the hole needed to remove the airbag so you can remove the wheel...

Anyone successfully removed these with the double stick tape?

Heat it up and start prying off.

If you are scared to break them off you can also use some fishing line to cut through the 3M.

Problem is the shifters sort of conform around the OEM shifters, so you'd have a tough time getting it back there.

Try heating them from the metal side behind the wheel and slowly prying off. Going to leave a mess though. If you know the exact location of the screw hole you might be better off just turning the wheel and drilling a hole.
