Remote Start Not Working

Need some help! My remote start stopped working. It's not a HUGE deal but its convenient to have in particular situations.

2015 EB Mustang W/ Premium package
Mods: MAP Catless Downpipe, MAP Intake and tuned with Cobb Accessport.

It stopped working after my mods, don't know if the remote start is affected when disconnecting the battery. Does anyone have any idea how to get remote start working/reprogrammed?

What exactly happens? Is there any activity on the keyfob? (red or green led)

Nothing happens. I lock the car then follow with double pressing the remote start button and it does nothing. The car doesn't do anything and the key fob blinks red Led 3 times.

I've had the car start even when the fob shows red.

Red can mean fail to start, or fail to receive a signal back from the car.

How far are you when trying? No walls or interference?

Not far at all. I've tried right in front of the car. Any idea how I can maybe reset it or reprogram?

Haven't looked into it too much, but maybe there's something in the vehicle options menu in between the gauges?

There are setting for Vehicle Remote Start but it's set to ON. I've tried turning off and back on with no luck. Not sure what else I could do.

Do other functions on the remote work? Mine only blinks at me when I am out of range (usually with a few walls and 50 feet of distance). If nothing works, battery could be at fault. Otherwise you will very likely need to take it to the dealer to get the keyfob reprogrammed.

All other functions on key fob work (unlock, lock, keyless features, etc). The only thing that isn't working is remote start.

I was able to get it working. Disconnected battery, then reconnected and that got it back up and running. Thanks guys!

Micro$haft is in the cars. The answer is always to reboot.

Anyone else have a solution for this? I’m having the same issue after getting cai, headers and a tune. I’ve made sure the hood is closed, car is in park and I’m close enough. Ik how to use it and have been for years without any issues til now. I already tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. Worked once then wouldn’t again after. Messed with my key batteries too. Any time I try to use it it just honks once instead.

Any Check Engine Light message (CEL) will disable remote starts. Clearing them will reenable remote start, but as soon CEL is back on remote start won't work.

Yea I heard that too, I don’t have any check engine lights on though.
