Remote start fob fixed

Was having issues using fob to start my 19 gt.i could start ot thru fordpass app but not fob.came across a post that said in acc mode lower and raise your windows and start the car.did that turned car off.got out locked the doors with fob then tried remote start and it worked. Have no idea why but it worked.i did try remote fob start before and it didn't work.so something happened thought I'd share it

I don't know if you used the fob to lock the car before trying to remote start it the first time but my understanding is that you have to use the fob to lock the car before a remote start. I believe you have to do that even if the car is already locked.

I did lock it with fob first before I tried remote start and itcdidnt start until I tried the window trick,
