Not worth it to you maybe but for me it is. I like to have something different than most people. Hence why i went with the EB in the first place. I could of easily have gotten a GT if i wanted one. The only thing i wish i had the GT for is the exhaust note. Other than that i am happy with the EB. I just want more power at my dispose on an occasional basis. Something super quick and light that no one would notice.
nothing wrong with wanting something different. Im just still trying to figure out how to dump that kind of money into a car and then if it got totaled or stolen be able to get it back from the insurance company, just in case something happened..

Honestly, if it was easy as, hey let me put a rider on these parts and they would pay it out, i would also be all for it. but i don't have any experience yet knowing anyone who has had luck in that department.

Overall, go for it man, these cars are sweet i don't have anything against any of the vehicles or peoples mods.

:readthethread: OP didn't ask if it were worth it to you, and your numbers are way off anyway.

OP, the goals defined should be achievable. Just costs $, which you're clearly aware of.
Love the username handle!! :D

but wait... base GT with A-plan with PP can be had for right around 33K roushcharger is about 6K and claims 670 CRANK... translate 25% drive train loss, if it even is that much or around there and you have about 500 wheel.....im not WAY off, I was just ball parkin it for simple conversation.

A little off topic...rather than pushing the limits of the 4 banger, drop the 3.5 turbo V6 in there. That would be a great platform to build off of! :headbang:

i was a little surprised ford didn't offer that instead. That ecoboost V6 is a pretty impressive motor for sure!

Yea this will be my play money to build the performance i want once the car is payed off in about a year. I will look around to see who will insure it with my mods if not i will strip anything off of it in a fire or crash. Stolen? oh well that's the chance i'm willing to take.

Even though it will still be DD reliable i might have another car as an actual week day duty vehicle. Right now it's parked in a garage 98% of the time unless i'm out driving it which is 2-3 days a week for a few hours a day since i use my company vehicle most of the time especially during the work week.

Like i said before i am different and want something different. Most Mustangs with 500-600 HP will be GT's. I want a sleeper EB that almost no body will have or probably seen in person but that's just me :D

i definitely love the ecoboost man, there is no doubt. Im so impressed with the setup. and actually your right, the ecoboost is gonna be lighter than the GT as well, so paired up the ECO will have an awesome little edge!

There are already quite a few impressive ecoboosts already. I will leave my car at the 1.5 stage until at least my warranty expires. I'm going to avoid building the engine for as long as possible. But once I do I'll be looking for about 500 who. MAP already has a stock engine there and are seeing how long it holds up.

Who cares about power, learn to drive it right, and you'll pass "fast" cars all day long and keep that DD "Stock" reliability. Just saying...

I know how to drive it right and how to pass fast cars. I really don't drive fast due to the small town i live in with the 3 different police (city, county and state) and the low speed limits. I occasionally go down a country road and like to get on it for a few secs. I just want 500-600 HP that i can punch it once in a while.

I'm here in this crappy town for the next year and a half until my work assignment is up and hopefully be in a better part of the country and will have my car done by then.

Some are happy with a stock car, some are happy with a tune and a few bolt on's. My car will remain stock until i can go for a big HP build but that's just me. :headbonk: To each their own i guess.

The OP cares about power.
Don't really know if he needs driving lessons, or if he wants to pass anything.
Just saying

Why are you here? Op wants what he wants. How you know he already isn't a good driver?

That post so full of fail from a fail.

Go back to the Chevy boards, troll.

Pick up the stuff that will carry over to your new setup like a COBB v3, an Intercooler, and possibly a Cat back, it will make a difference now and it's all stuff you need anyway when you go big.

I'm just saying power is only a number. people say I NEED xxx amount of power, when more could be done with less, and it be an incredibly reliable daily driver.

pretty sure the daily driver part was there too.

if you wanted 500-600whp daily driver you should have gotten a gt then put a $6k sc kit on it and called it a day.

Ecoboost sounds so horrible I have no intentions of ever modding it. I enjoy good sounding turbo 4s. I will leave it quiet as possible and be content with the hp and mpg. There's always something better whether you have a gt or even the gt350. The key is being able to fight off the temptation.
