Choking Victim and I pulled my plugs yesterday. All were between .51 and .55 ish. Regapped them all to .45. May be placebo but car feels smoother now and idle seems really stable.

Side note it is best to remove the battery area to get to the back passengers cylinder.

I'm gonna say one thing, I am checking mine today! Thanks OP.

I'm an e85 guy...the consensus seems to be gap to .48 is this correct?

What is the best gapping tool I can get? I've always had trouble gapping plugs. Is there a certain gap tool that makes it foolproof?

Is the torque on these 133lb.in? That's from Chilton and seems kinda high...

I had a big turbo 4 banger that went thru plugs fast. So I bought a set of gap pliers from summit racing. Their about 35 to 40 bucks but it makes gapping plugs a breeze and it's fool proof.

well it must have been inspection day at the Dearborn factory the day my car was built...lol...all of my plugs were at .48 spot on...didn't check the back one by the battery but 7 out of 8 were perfect...i'm assuming the back one by the battery is as well.

thanks for the heads up OP...easy enough to check with the exception of the back passenger plug.

thats 11 ft lbs, not that high pretty much typical torque value of spark plugs.

Just DO NOT MIX UP in lbs and ft lbs
