I think they can be programmed to always be open- like when the A/C is on. If you drive around with the A/C off, you'll see cyl head temps in the low 200's. Turn the A/C on and they will drop immediately since the shutters need to be open for the A/C condenser and the extra air cools the radiator as well.Not sure if this applies to people who have AGS removed, I don't think a tune changes your cylinder temps, but I could be wrong. Maybe like you said the AGS, but anyone with ten min can remove theres, no need for a tune
