Nobody in this topic said they go WOT with other people around. Get off your highhorse and stop making assumptions about your fellow M6G members. For all you know half of us live out in the country with 90% empty back roads, with no one at danger but ourselves and the mosquitoes splattering against our windshields.

Actually I make sure I redline at least once a week to keep all the carbon away from the engine and cats.
When I had my RX-8, it's more daily thing.

But then I'm not different to them, just because I don't go WOT everyday, doesn't mean I don't drive in ways that might be slightly illegal.

My mindset wasn't about the shenanigans, just that somebody posted to ask " how many times do you redline a day".

I'd find it more interesting to know how many times do people fart a day in their Mustang.

Rare for me, mostly when Im merging onto the freeway with open road.

If I recall right, red line in second gear is well over the freeway speed limit, people who say they are WOT in a 435 HP car on the road with other cars are idiot drivers. No offense... you guys need to get out on the track more, there is nothing like being on a circuit track in a car like this, 10 times funner then anything you do on the road and you wont kill people.

this is the reason why we have so many Youtube videos of people wrecking their Mustangs.

Haha, I feel you man. I'm in Dublin/ Pleasenton area all the time. It's horrible there! The nearest fun place i can think of is I-505. Nobody's ever on that freeway lol

yea, I remember when I got my license back in the mid 90s - during the summers we would all drive our "fast" cars around like maniacs because there was such little traffic out in our neck of the woods. Now, idk what happened but unless you're out past midnight, the streets are always congested! :(

Highway 1 between Stinson Beach & Olema comes to mind...has some very nice & long straightaways. Not to mention, some very sharp curves.
