These hood struts work well. It's ridiculous new mustangs don't come with these instead of the horrible prop rod.

I hope my GT350 is reliable enough that I don't need hood struts! I suspect the prop rod is lighter, too. No offense to the Aftermarket guys. Lots of good products on the Aftermarket.

No, these will NOT cause any issues with the hood closing correctly. Since you are only loosening one hood bolt to add our bracket you are not affecting the factory alignment.

It has nothing to do with reliability. It's a convenience factor having them.

Trust me. If you've never used them once you do you'll never go back to using the stock prop rod. They're that good!

Actually the QuickLIFT ELITE feature polished Stainless Steel gas springs and have a 5 year warranty. The QuickLIFT PLUS feature Black gas springs and have a 4 year warranty.
