I really like them, but only the traditional style ones.

I'm wanting a set of aluminum slats but I'm not decided on the brand quite yet.

They're an acquired taste :)... but you already knew that. Ha ha. I'm not into retro anything, so obviously they're not for me. And I owned a '70 Mach1. Only reason I bought the Bullitt is because it didn't have the retro dash, and both the interior and exterior are not modern by any means, but not decidedly retro either. Kind of like the 911 progression. The toggle switches might be a retro element, but at least done in a modern/elegant way. The manual parking brake is old school, but it goes well with an also old-school manual tranny. No way I'd ever own a Camaro, Charger, or Challenger, for instance. The Corvettes I owned were cheaply built, and I'm done with GM, but at least they kept modernizing the Corvette with every iteration... except the engine architecture. That's what I like about my Bullitt; it has an excellent and modern powertrain, after Ford finally put a proper IRS on it :).

As a final comment, I wouldn't even ask if we like the louvers. If you like them, go for them :). It's your car, and it only matters that you like and enjoy them  . Take care.

I think certain brands look good - but for me, I don’t think I could add them on my because of the maintenance aspect. For a daily driver, dirt/debris gets trapped under them and then when washing the car, it just seems like it would be a water trap and PIA to dry.

Pressure washer, leaf blower both solve that issue (both things I use to wash/dry anyway). I also like to use Rainx on the back window to help keep stuff off it, apply it once every month or two back there. Other than that I don't need to clean underneath, it stays looking just fine.
