The dealer gave me the standard equipment list that is also posted here. It shows as standard folding split-bench seats. He said one side folds which seems odd. I looked at a GT a couple years ago and they did not fold down.

Can anyone with a 2016 350 (not an R) with the technology package (since that is close to what I would get in 2017 with the convenience package) tell me if one or both of the rear seats fold down?

Thanks.

Both rear backrests fold down.

Thanks that is what I hoped, the dealer was wrong. When you said 'backrests' I assume you meant seats, right?

Also do you think the resulting space is long enough to put a bike in if I take of the front wheel? I bet that is the first time someone asked that:-)

I have a Niner Jet 9. I can get it in the trunk with both seats folded forward with just the front wheel removed, its a trick so I elect to remove both front and rear then there's no problem getting it in there.

Thanks very much, this is exactly what I wanted to know. I am a road bike person so my handle bars may me a bit of a problem, but I am sure I can work it out.

Nice laps, I instructed for a number of clubs for a while and never got to that track. Looks nice.
