Where are you guys getting your Ford kits from?

I bought mine off of the Ford Performance website. It was on sale and they shipped it to my local dealership for free. Might want to wait till father's day and see if any sales pop up

Free shipping is huge. That is the problem with this kit, shipping runs high. I might check into that. If I can get another with free shipping, that would be tempting.

I took my rear seats out today as I'm putting in a CMS Rollbar and Coverking seat delete in my 23 GT Premium. I decided to take apart one of the rear seat belt buckles and remove the tiny microswitch from it. You can remove it withoit breaking stuff I believe. I didn't go that route on the first one but may try hard on the other one. I left it connected and drove about 75 miles today with one buckle gone and only the microswitch connected. No messages or lights. More than likely it is shunted via the little circuit board inside. For those curious, removing the buckle/bolt and leaving just the switch is a weight savings of 7oz.

Easy install. As you can see for my 2020 model saved quite a bit.

I'm excited for the CoverKing to arrive tomorrow. The tracking information says the box is 46x10x10 and only weighs 4 lbs.

Which aftermarket kit would you prefer personally? Trying to decide between some on the site and can’t really tell if there’s any pros and cons to certain brands
If you want OEM then the Ford Performance one would be your best bet as it's exactly what's used on the 2020+ GT500 CFTP. If you're looking for a more budget friendly option and don't care about it being OEM than the CM Components or Shrader Performance rear seat deletes are both great options. Feel free to give us a call if you have any other questions.

Thanks!

From experience, the low cost options are very very much just that. Nothing more. I have a low cost option in my 197 car. Never again (and certainly not in this car), and certainly not worth it in any capacity. I bitch about the price of the Ford one like everyone else, but I’ll pay it.

Absolutely go with the ford performance RSD. I tried two after markets and so cheap and flimsy I hated them. Costly but hey do you want your rig to look good?
