We do, as of today :headbang: Slotted Brake Rotors

Also wanted to announce that we are also a G-Loc Brake Pad Dealer. We will have everything up on our site in the coming days. We plan to put together some kits with rotors and pads soon. Also we will have Braided Brake Lines soon as well. We are close to signing a deal with one of the major fluid transfer manufacturers we worked with back in the early 90's before they were 'famous'. Good business relationships always seem to come back around  Lot's of stuff coming so if you don't see it please ask, we ship world-wide but please reach out to us first
Hi Optimum Performance, how about aluminum parts (e.g. calipers) for rear brakes? More interested in weight reduction than improving the rear brake performance, necessarily...

Would the savings be worth the cost? If you don't require a parking brake things would be easier. Any aftermarket caliper can be fitted with a custom bracket. If you are going.to spend all that money, for what? 5lbs off the wrong end of the car.

You could save more weight having a titanium exhaust system built, still taking weight off the wrong end of the car.

Carbon fiber doors would drop about 70 pounds, or you could drop it by maybe installing a pair of Racetech Seats we have on our site, even quite a bit lighter than the factory Recaros, a ton lighter than the factory seats with all the gadgets. Takes weight out of the car more towards the front, and up high plus holds you in the seat, combined with our harness bar, allows you to run a proper harness and HANS. Best part is all of it bolts in and you can switch back in forth. I hazard to guess that properly restrained a good driver can still pickup 1 second/lap over trying to brace themselves in the car. Much less wasted motion, better car feel.

I think the Brembo BBK, or any of the other options out there are a good way to improve rear braking, I've had the components apart enough to know there isn't a lot of weight there. I think the GT350 rear brake option is best route still. Larger swept area, less mass.

Thank you sir.
I have yet to try the Schroth harness keeping the Recarco's. I'm not inclined to remove the factory seats at this time as keeping the car street legal is a priority... CF Doors sound amazing but probably super costly, and would we lose any safety feature that might impact street legality?

edit: addn'l comments
-I know what you mean about the seat... I have a 5-point/corbeau in the s2000, feels great to be secured
-fancied the idea that there might be up to 15 lbs savings per rear, too fanciful
edit 2:
-might as well supercharge the s2000, given the problems ive had NA doubt the reliability of FI at the moment.

a rather pathetic attempt of self-defense

One more link - directional vanes in a rotor are just an automotive application of a centrifugal fan. In a rotor the whole business rotates, not just the vanes but the "sides" as well. There is no peripheral containment (save, perhaps, for some effect from the inside of the wheel barrel) making the outlet "nozzle" everywhere around the circumference.

The old 'shop' installed the rotors wrong on my s2000, which may have had something to do with my mistake.
