what's with the attitude? i'm not trying to give you a hard time here. nor am i trying to justify a "quick fix". insurance companies are trying to make a buck and most will take the cheapest route, which is repair before replace. you did not say that picture was only a small part of the damage. you said there was a hole and i did not see one, so based on that picture you provided, they probably won't replace it, using experience with similar damage that i've had in the past, no matter how hard i've tried to get the insurance company to replace it. they often use a flexible plastic filler to cover up anything deep, sand and respray. if it's a fair sized hole or a small portion of the bumper is missing that you can actually see through, then they would use something like a 3M flexible bumper patch. as for the two broken tabs on the bottom... i don't know. my tabs where the part where it hooked onto the rear fenders, and when the repaired tabs failed and the side of the bumper broke free, the wind caught it like a sail and it ripped off the car at speed.
