rear deck lid panel wrap?

Since the blank rear deck lid panels are no longer available I am considering removing my emblem and having it wrapped. Has any one done this? Did you need to patch the holes first?

I am planing to do this same thing when space city release their new badges.

You will need to patch the holes with bondo or something likewise or when you wrap it you will see dimples when the holes are.

Some decent high quality vinyl looks alright on the rear deck lid panel.
