Hey all, I bought a 2018 GT Base with a Roush Stage 2 on it a few months ago. This is my first forced induction car and I'm looking for some enlightenment. I've read tons of threads, different forums, and even gone through the 2018+ Roush Stage 1/2 installation guide before coming here. So, now onto the problem/question. The guy before me installed an AeroForce Interceptor (digital, not mechanical) gauge, which seems to read everything fine... except boost. It reads vacuum as expected (0 turned on but not running, and -21 to -19) at idle. The problem is that even at WOT in 2nd/3rd gear I read MAYBE 3 pounds of boost. I've read that the bypass valve could be bad, but it seems like the power is there, so I'm not sure if that's the issue. Is a vacuum hose required to be hooked up to the blower (I've seen the pictures and where it is supposed to go) since the Roush kit does a MAF to MAP conversion, or should the conversion allow the PCM to provide boost numbers to be read by the gauge? Or maybe the gauge just requires an external boost sensor (I know AF sells them on their site)? Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated!
