completed the valve cover swap on my 15 GT PP, 90k km. Noticed a drip of oil on my floor now and then. Smoke would come out from the drivers side engine bay from oil drips on the headers. Did some research and decided to do the swap of the valve covers.
The screws at the back near the firewall, both sides, all loose. Removed all by hand…
Disappointed that ford would be so cheap with something like this.
anyway, looks better now and fastened properly with all screw holes used on the heads.

yeah my stock covers on bank 1 (right of car as you sit in it) were leaking oil which smoked and i found the bolts were loose. Ford wanted 700GBPounds to fix it. Aye, jog on

700GBP Sounds like a lot. I hope you managed to do it yourself. Quite easy if you have tools and some patience.

yeah, bought a cheap flexi ratchet extension and fifteen minutes later all the bolts were snug and no more leaks / smoking. Dunno what Ford were smokin
