2014 mustang 5.0 6 speed. HP Tuners. Full bolt ons. Boss 302 manifold. 47# injectors. K&N Blackhawk cold air intake. BBK catless long tubes. Straight piped to GT500 quad tip mufflers. Full E85 tune. Mishimoto radiator. Mishimoto front cross flow bar oil cooler.
I’m completely at a stand still the vehicle recently started a weird rattle noise on the passenger side I’ve got under it and checked all bolts to the header and nothing not even black smoke stains. It crackles like a metal clip in a can under slight application of the gas peddle and when accelerating. You can hear it more at low rpm like if the rpm rises you hear it around 300-500.. It’s becoming annoying but the car performs well and no loss in gains. The one thing a couple of guys told me is that I shouldn’t have used the BBK gaskets and now I just want to assure myself what it could be before I send her out because I for sure will not be pulling anything apart again as I’m too lazy and headers on these cars aren’t fun at all. so this time around I’m paying a shop to redo my headers with oem gaskets 500$ but before that I’d want to see anyones input on what the noise could be.
