The Ranger should have been offered with a N/A or diesel engine. I think a 3.7 N/A or even a 2.8 or 3.0 diesel would be great. The complexiety of the turbo along with the price would be much better. Towing with the diesel would be great.

I love my 2.3 turbo ranger. With a tune and a few upgrades it rocks. I actually drove a ranger raptor and in stock form the twin turbo 3.0 v6 can't hang with my modified turbo 4. So I decided not to spend $65k. And lots of people towing some nice size campers with them. Go checkout ranger5g lots of great info over there. And the raptor option reduces towing capacity by 2k lbs
