Random nut by alternator

Hello does anyone know if anywhere on these cars in the engine bay these nuts are used other than on the suspension it’s the same exact nut. was recently getting some work done and found this sitting by the alternator can’t see anything it would go to other than what’s pictured thanks in advance

I hate when I have a random nut. I don't think this is something anyone could really answer, if it was in the engine bay it was probably an extra from factory assembly that someone dropped.

It doesn’t look like it was ever installed, if that gives you any piece of mind. The nylon looks factory fresh.
