I'm looking to pull the trigger on some Radium fuel rails finally and I'm looking on beef cake and Radium's website. I guess my question is which hoses and fittings do I need along with the rails? I would like a crossover hose as well as someone has mentioned before about getting as it's a good idea. Thanks

Most likely the route I'll go if I decide on adding rails to my system.

Radium has a kit that comes with the rails with all the correct hose and fittings. No need to shop for anything extra. All bolt on with no thinking.

See the plugs you have in on the first 2 pics half way down the rails? I want to run a hose from those points across the top of the manifold to the other rail. To connect them. Thats mainly what im getting at

AAhh yeah, got ya. That should be a pretty easy solution. That just serves to balance things out, right? The factory set up didn't have that, but the Radium fuel line has a Y fitting that feeds both rails better (IMO) than what the stock lines looked like. Plus note I went with their dampeners also, which should combat any/all imbalance or pressure surges.

So to clarify. I went back and looked at my fuel rail. That line that runs across the top (or around the ends in the case of my fuel rail) is to supply fuel to the other side. Fuel comes in to only one rail, and then across to the other. With the Radiuk hose kit, you don’t need this. Fuel is evenly supplied from a Y manifold to each individual fuel rail as the hoses show in my pic on the table.

Yeah, I understand it has a Y and sends fuel to both rails I would just want one going across for better stability, but who knows, may not be needed at all. So, I would run without it first, basically exactly your set up, and see how it does. I'm sure it'll be perfectly fine especially with the Y design. Thanks, dude.

If you're using it on a gen 3 car with DI as a deadhead system you definitely should have a crossover. I'm the one that recommended it. I also would not buy the radium pre-made hose kit, they use #6 lines, those coupled with the 90* fittings does have some restriction.

See, I knew someone did. Just couldn't remember who. Lol. I was also thinking that about those lines. I would think bigger would be better to avoid any future restrictions.
So then, back to my original statement. What is needed/recommended for this set up?

Really depends how you are going to set it up and run everything. The rails are 8 orb. I'd draw out your plans first then pick the hose and fittings you need, the less bend fittings the better. I've have no issues at all with radium hose or fittings. I've had quality issues with other brands.

I would do it like how Galaxy has his, with the Y. Just add the crossover.

If you're doing a deadhead feed the rails from the back and crossover from the front not in the middle. That way offers the most balanced fueling considering where the DI nipple is and the number 1 cylinder.

Good point. Thoughts on the dampeners or other accessories?

Dampers are not needed with the setup I described.
Thank you. Appreciate the knowledge. I have little when it comes to radium.
