There was another thread for the RB group buy over in the 350 section. Billy Had chimed in with a lot of good info. Since this topic was brought up recently here in other threads, I am providing a link to the other RB thread in the 350 section of this forum.

Racing Brake Carbon Ceramic & Lightweight Iron Rotor Group Buy | Page 6 | 2015+ S550 Mustang Forum (GT, EcoBoost, GT350, GT500, Bullitt, Mach 1) - Mustang6G.com

The other discussion on the 350 forum was definitely an interesting read.

I’ve got about 8k miles in on mine with the street compound pads. The brakes have been superb. no dust, very little pad wear and only the occasional squeak. Modulation of the pedal is great and the steering feels so much lighter.

A more aggressive pad compound is needed for track use as the street compound is designed for less noise. You don’t get all the bite you normally want on track. They did well at Sonoma though.

How many miles are you getting with a set of front brake pads? Street miles, not track.

Nobody that purchased a set has needed to do a pad change yet. At 11k miles mine had very little wear.

How well do they stop cold? I read that they are better warm and that cold is not bad, just a little less than stock. Your opinion?
A few of us are interested in these. Thanks.

Brakes being up to temp are definitely a necessity. Same as your tires. You can definitely tell the difference in performance.

You will also want to adjust your braking tactics. Less dragging the brakes to keep temps down.
