I am noticing more and more on the road some of the S550 have LED or HID fog lamps. Mine are incandescent bulbs.

Need info on what I am seeing on the other cars as I want the same.

if you look in your owners manual you will see they list two bulbs, LED and H11. Is your GT a Premium model?

Was wondering about this too actually. Mine has a very bluish-white fog light which definitely aren't incandescent but I thought all Canadian spec cars got non led fogs. I've seen some on the road with yellowy looking fogs and others like mine.

I'm not sure what the UK market is supposed to have. I saw a video a few days ago of differences between NA and UK mustangs and it said you guys don't have the tri bars in the headlights as drls but the fogs instead but I don't know whether the fogs for you guys should be LED or halogen. I have a feeling they are halogens though.

Also to the above^ I think you can purchase the LED fog assembly and swap it out to match the HID lights. I think they may have made a change for '17 for Canadian spec cars. No clue really.

UK Market has non-LED fogs. The fog lights are the DRLs for the european mustangs. It is something to do with EU regulations not allowing the tribar LEDs to be the DRLs.

Ah that's why you're asking. I've seen both types of fogs on the road here all stock cars so I highly doubt they are aftermarket but I can't tell what year they are by looking. If you had LED fogs well lucky you then because I think they look nicer than halogens.

Silly rules I think the tribar drls look so much better :(

Funny enough, I got an email from American Muscle today, one of the products featured was the LED replacement fog light found here:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-foglight-2015.html

Every time I see a Ford part sold at a retailer I always try to find the part # and look it up on Bear Lake Ford where I bought my GT Grille..

American Muscle list the part as: FR3Z-15200-A

Looking that up on the Ford site brings up:
http://parts.autonationfordwhitebearlake.com/oe-ford/fr3z15200a

Same part #, but substantially cheaper.. however I'm not 100% clear if this is the full housing with the LED included.. it should be tho. The site often mis-labels or lacks information on parts but as long as it's the same part # it should be good. The GT upper Grille cost about $200 on these 3rd party sites, I got it for $30 from this website.. :headbonk:

Seeing things like this makes me not want to buy from American Muscle. That's $342 cheaper EACH. If you bought a set through AM it would cost $884. That's insane for fog lights.
